After downloading, run the file (FT9SP2P1.exe) to update your FastTest desktop software.
FastTest Mobile users
To prevent certificate data loss please ensure that all FastTest Mobile certificates are transferred to the desktop version of FastTest BEFORE downloading and installing either the desktop or mobile updates.
To install the FastTest Mobile update
After installing Service Pack 2 Patch 1 for your desktop version of FastTest 2008 17th Edition you should follow these steps:
• Make sure that your PDA is connected and synchronized with the PC.
• Launch ‘My Computer’ or ‘Windows Explorer on the desktop PC’
• Navigate to the FastTest 17th program folder, which will typically be in the default installation file path (indicated below), unless you have physically changed the location:
For FastTest Mobile
C:\Amtech2008\FastTest17th\FastTest Mobile PDA SP2 Patch
For FastTest Domestic Mobile
C:\Amtech2008\FastTest17th\FastTest Domestic Mobile PDA SP2 Patch 1
- You will find one of the following files:
FastTestMobileInstaller.msi
fasttestdomesticinstaller.msi
- Double click on the relevant file to install the FastTest 2008 17th Edition Mobile update.
- Follow the on screen instructions to install the update on your PDA.

ProDesign 2008 17th Edition v15.2.1
Only for use AFTER you have installed the AMTECH 2008 Service Pack 2 CD (17th Edition)
This update resolves the following reported issues
• Grouped parallel cable Iz assessment
• Transformer primary fault level field entry limit
• Transformer percentage impedance field accuracy limit
• Ground temperature data entry for 17th edition ground methods
• Busbar voltage drop allocation system where busbar is the final conductor
• Production of printed reports for concurrent licence users
• Interaction between component numbering and internal final circuits
• Entry of ‘Length to first fitting’ values for lighting radial circuits.
Please read the notes below carefully before you install.
- Save any open project
- Exit from ProDesign
- Download the patch to your PC
- Double click on the downloaded file to install
- Restart ProDesign 2008
- Go to 'About ProDesign' on the 'Help' menu dropdown and check version 15.2.1 has been installed
SingleCable 2008 17th Edition v15.2.1
Only for use AFTER you have installed the AMTECH 2008 Service Pack 2 CD (17th Edition)
This update resolves the following reported issues

- Exit from SingleCable
- Download the patch to your PC
- Double click on the downloaded file to install
- Re-launch SingleCable
- Go to 'About SingleCable' on the 'Help' menu dropdown and check version 15.2.1 has been installed
