Dock Office refurbished using FastTest software

Maplewood Services Ltd has been on site since 2002 with this major refurbishment project in Salford
Quays, a waterfront business development in the heart of Manchester. The Grade II listed building, originally constructed in 1927, first had to be gutted before work could start on the empty shell. More than two years on, the prestigious Dock Office complex is nearing completion.

The four-storey building offers a total of more than 2,600 square metres of office space. Each floor has been split into five self-contained areas, which will form the individual offices when completed. The project involved the installation of new LV panels and full sub-distribution busbar trunking.

AMTECH’s software played an important role in the safety provisions for the complex. Maplewood’s engineers designed the fire alarm and emergency lighting systems using ProDesign, then used FastTest to certify them, collecting the data for certification on site with FastTest Mobile.
