We want to know what you think about AMTECHLive, our range of online applications so we have added a response form to the site.

If you like the service we want to hear from you (who wouldn't) but we also want to hear if there is anything you don't  like or if you can think of new features and changes to make AMTECHLive work better for you. We are adding to this service all the time and we want to make sure we add the things you want rather than what we think you want.

What is AMTECHLive
AMTECHLive is the home of AMTECH’s on-line applications.

Powerful engineering software you can use from any internet connected computer, from any location at any time.

AMTECHLive is an, online, family of products that frees electrical contractors and gas installers from being tied to a single computer. AMTECHLive includes to two products, FastTestLive and GasCertLive that are both FREE to use.

Both products are aimed primarily at contractors who haven’t yet deployed powerful software within their businesses. They enable contractors to very quickly and simply complete certificates, such as electrical Test & Inspection or Gas Safety Record certificates, online, from any computer using any internet connection, at any time. There is no need install any software; users simply log in using their personal, secure details to access all of the tools they need.

For ease of use, both FastTestLive and GasCertLive provide a selection of on-screen certificates, which can be customised with the addition of an electronic signature. They can then be saved in PDF format and either e-mailed to the client or printed onto plain paper, eliminating the need to buy specialised certificate paper. They also incorporate an online database for storing clients’ details, enabling fast and easy retrieval when a certificate is renewed.

“AMTECHLive empowers contractors to adopt a new and more flexible way of working,” commented AMTECH Sales Director James Cooper. “It is based on technologies that have been tried and tested in other sectors and are now being pioneered in the building services sector by AMTECH.  We are also very proud to launch these new applications FREE to all,” he added.

A key benefit of the AMTECHLive concept is that users don’t have to worry about maintaining and securing software, as they have access to the latest version, hosted on secure servers. This feature is expected to be particularly valuable for smaller contractors without access to IT specialists and who haven’t yet progressed to full-functionality programs such as AMTECH’s FastTest and GasCert products.

Consequently, AMTECHLive is not a replacement for AMTECH’s market-leading desktop applications. Rather, it represents an entry-level introduction to the benefits of using industry-specific software tools in a contracting business.

How to access AMTECHLive
Go to www.amtechlive.com and select which product you want to use,  FastTestLive (for Electrical Certificates) or GasCertLive (for Gas Certificates). If you are already registered on the AMTECH website, you can log in using the same user name and password. If you are a new visitor, select the product and then register as prompted.
