My Profile

How do I add my Company details?
Click on My Profile Tab and the Company tab is shown by default.  Click on the Edit button in the bottom right hand corner.  Enter all your company details including Registration Number and then click Save in the bottom right hand corner.

How do I add my Company logo or Governing Body logo?
Click on My Profile Tab and the Company tab is shown by default.  Click on the Edit button in the bottom right hand corner.  If your software has this feature enabled then obtain or create a an electronic image in jpeg or bmp format. The aspect ratio of the image should be roughly 3 wide by 2 high. It also helps if this is a relatively small image ie less than 50k. Use the browse button to locate your company or governing body log on your PC and select ‘Open’ to register it. The logo will be resized automatically

How do I add Engineer details?
Click on My Profile Tab and then click on the Engineers Tab.  This will show you list of engineers already added.  To add a new engineer, click on the button “Add New Engineer” in the top right of the screen. Enter Engineer details including a signature if required and click Save in the bottom right hand corner.

How do I add an Engineers signature?
If your software has this feature enabled then obtain or create an electronic image of the Engineers signature in jpeg or bmp format. It also helps if this is a relatively small image i.e. less than 50k. The aspect ratio of the image should be roughly 4 wide by 3 high. Click on ‘My Profile’ Tab and select the ‘Engineer’ tab.  Click on the ‘Add New Engineer’ or ‘View’ and then the ‘Edit’ button in the bottom right hand corner.  Use the browse button to locate your prepared signature on your PC and select ‘Open’ to register it. The logo will be resized automatically

How do I add Test Instrument Serial Numbers?
Click on My Profile Tab and then click on the Test Instrument tab.  This will show the serial numbers you currently have associated.  To edit them click on the Edit button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.  Enter the serial numbers of the required instruments and then click Save button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

How do you validate certificates within FastTestLive?
Click on My Profile tab and then click on the Settings tab.  At the top of the screen, the first option is Validation.  Click on the drop down list and select On from the list and this will turn validation on in the certificates.  Click the Save button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

How are certificate numbers defined in FastTestLive?
Yes. Click on My Profile tab, then click on Settings tab and you can then define certificate number in the Certificate Starting Number field and it can be any number up to 8 digits long. The next time you print another certificate, the certificate number will be incremented  automatically for you. You may use leading zeros but cannot select a number lower than a number you have already used.

Can you change the default number of ways and phases in new boards?
Yes. Click on My Profile tab and then click on the Settings tab.  At the bottom of the screen, you can change the default number of ways and the Phase of the boards.  Click Save and when you create a new certificate it will use this information.
